KOLIZEY and Comedy Club Production held Comedy Club Festival in Egypt
On May 1–8, VIIth Comedy Club Festival was held in Caribbean World Resort 5* Hotel not far from Hurghada, Egypt.
Pavel Volia, Timur Batrutdinov, Roman Yunusov, Alexei Likhnitsky, Gavr, Dmitry “Liusek” Sorokin and other residents made a genuine conquest of the pet resort of many Russians: the VIIth Festival attracted a no-precedent number of guests, about 1000 individuals.
The traditional – and favorite – part of the Festival program were non-traditional competitions and contests culminated by “Miss Natasha 2009” Beauty Contest. The most beautiful girls were walking in procession along the shore and learning the art of giving witty answers to ridiculous questions.
One of the most spectacular events was photo contest on the beach. The residents made a number of teams from among the guests, and each such team had to form themselves into a specified shape – depending on inspirations of their own fancy and on their acrobatic skills.
Concerts made by the residents every night were traditionally extending themselves, gradually, into topical discotheques headed by popular disc jockeys of Moscow. The guests were transforming themselves into hippies, freaks, sheiks – and even animals. Last night, just on the eve of coming home, they attempted to go back to their human form: they came clad like school leavers to school ball-style night party.
The Festival was met with such an enthusiasm that the residents decided to make a Victory Day present for their admirers: they gave an additional concert for all tourists spending their vacations in Egypt at the moment.
All Festival events were made shootings of by TNT TV Channel, and all materials so shot will be the basis for TV version of the event.
