KOLIZEY and Comedy Club Production hold Big Comedian Games in Greece
The V Comedy Club Festival was organized in the country, which is the birth place of Olympic Games, on May 4–11. For the whole week, the hotel “Aldemar Olympian Village 5*” (at the Peloponnesus Peninsula) served as the stadium of the first Big Comedian Games.
About 500 guests, who have arrived from Russia and Ukraine, joined (for the time of the Festival) the national teams of the Republics of Chad, Burkina-Faso, Mongolia and the Kingdom of Liechtenstein. The teams were headed by the residents of Comedy Club – Pavel Volya, Timur Batrutdinov, Gavr, Dmitriy “Lyusek” Sorokin, Aleksander “A” Revva, Roman Yunusov, Aleksey Likhnitsky, Sergey Bessmertny and others.
After the morning warm-up with the Club residents the teams proceeded to the competitions to play the lawn tennis with balalaika, participate in the dance ball and other incredible sports. In the evening, the competitors met again in order to laugh heartily at the Comedy Club concerts and collectively entertain the public at the night discotheques, driven by the best Moscow disc–jockeys.
On the Victory Day sportsmen organized a holiday parade, i.e. they took cars, bicycles or simply went on foot with flags, singing songs, to the nearest village. For the dwellers of Skafidia this parade was, as judged by their raving reaction, the holiday they could not admire often enough.
The Festival ended with the gala-dinner. During the dinner General Director of KOLIZEY Levon Bakunts and General Producer of the Festival Pavel Volya presented another place for the VI Comedy Club Festival. It is Lanzarote, one of the most mysterious islands of Canary’s Archipelago.
